1887, First edition. A very good matching 2 volume set bound in lightly rubbed green boards with brown 1/2 leather. The spines have 5 raised bands and gilt lettering. The leather is scuffed. Marbled edges and endpapers. Apart from a short tear to the bottom edge of the illustration between pages 80 and 81 the contents are pristine. This is a really stunning set.
