The Sphere and Tatler, 1905. This copy is a bound volume of 13 weekly issues of The Sphere magazine consisting of a complete run from the 1 July 1905 to 23 September 1905 (inclusive). Bound in red cloth boards with lavish gilt decoration and lettering on the top board and spine. The boards are lightly rubbed and the spine strip is faded. This copy has just returned from a major restoration consisting of new endpapers, re stitching and the old spine strip overlaid over a new matching spine. Any damaged pages have also been restored and the issues in this volume present extremely well - hence the expended cost and effort on restoring this item. A lovely period piece.
