1829. A near fine copy bound in original black half leather over marbled boards. The spine has 5 raised bands and gilt lettering. Light rubbing of the boards and leather. Apart from a previous owners bookplate on the front pastedown the contents are fine and unmarked. A distinguishing feature of this volume is that it contains a long (30 page) article on the proposed Swan River Colony (Western Australia) which was published before the Colony was settled in June 1829. This is quite likely the first significant article published on the Swan River Colony. Scans available if required.
