The Journal of the Royal Geographical Society - Volume the Forty-Fifth

RARE AND COLLECTIBLE | Westraliana

1875, Forty fifth edition. A very good copy bound in lightly rubbed blue boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Light age tanning of the edges and endpapers and a previous owners bookplate on the front pastedown. Apart from some light fraying of the ends of the folding maps where they slightly extend beyond the fore edge of the text block the contents are fine and unmarked. This volume is of interest to Western Australia as it contains a long (50 page) article by John Forrest on his expedition from Champion Bay to Adelaide along with a folding map. Scans available if required.
