M. F. Mansfied and Company, 1898. First US edition. A very good copy bound in the original light brown boards with gilt lettering on the spine and black lettering and illustrations on the top board. The boards are rubbed at the spine ends and the spine has an old library number in black. Gilt top edge and uncut fore edges. The contents are very clean with only a small library imprint stamp on the title page. A few of the early and latter pages have come adrift and are now loosely tipped in as are 3 of the 4 maps. The maps are mildly damaged and map 3 seems to be missing. This copy comes comes in its own custom made box. Scans available if required.
