F.W. Niven and Co., 1897. First edition. A near fine copy of this iconic work that has been rebound in maroon boards with brown half leather. The spine has 5 raised bands, gilt lining and a maroon title panel with gilt lettering. The bottom board is shelf rubbed and the leather is lightly marked. New endpapers which have a small amount of the insect damage on the front free endpaper and a previous owners bookplate on the front pastedown. The contents are very fine and unmarked. A superb copy.
