ALFRED PRICE served as an RAF aircrew officer for fifteen years before leaving the Service to work full-time as an author. He holds a PhD from Loughborough University and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He has written more than fifty books on aviation subjects, including Spitfire in Combat, Focke-Wulf in Combat, Luftwaffe in Camera and Blitz on Britain for the History Press.
