Harriet Lane started her career at Tatler where she ended up as features editor. She subsequently went to the Observer as commissioning editor on the magazine before becoming a staff feature writer contributing to all sections. After having her second child she went freelance in 2005 and since then has written for the Guardian, Vogue, the Observer magazine, both Telegraph magazines, Easy Living, the Times and the Daily Mail (celebrity interviews, columns and arts features). Her journalism has also been syndicated internationally.
