Vallentine Mitchell, 1988. First edition. This item is not the usual paperback issue of this item. This copy has been especially bound in navy boards with gilt lettering to the spine and front panel. The edges are also in gilt. This copy is also complete with a matching slipcase. This unique item is from the library of Sir William Heseltine, the former Principal Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth 11, and bears his bookplate to the front pastedown. There is a further presentation bookplate to the front free endpaper from the Board of Deputies. This presentation plate states that this copy was presented to Sir William and is SIGNED by Dr Lionel Kopelowitz the President of the Board at the time of presentation (5 March 1990).
