1881. First edition. This item comprises 2 volumes in matching brown boards with gilt to the spines and front panels. Both volumes are in near fine condition. The boards are unmarked and the gilt is lovely and bright. The uncut edges of the text block are lightly age tanned and there is very light spotting to the prelims but otherwise the contents are fine and unmarked and the bindings are excellent. A really superb survivor of this very rare item. Scans available if required.
