John C Nimmo, 1891. Third edition, revised, expanded and enlarged. A near fine set of 6 volumes bound in green cloth with gilt lettering and decoration to the spine and individual bird illustrations in gilt to the front boards. The boards have only light shelf rubbing and the gilt is lovely and bright. The edges are age tanned and each title page has a small previous owners signature stamp. The contents are pristine and free from any markings or damage and the bindings are all perfect. A truly stunning set that would impress on any shelf. Scans available if required.
